Chihuahua Puppies need consistent training
and positive behavior should be encouraged with treats and praises
Don’t let her out of your sight.
If you see her about to potty, calmly take her outside. No need to punish or
scold, just take her outside so she doesn’t learn the habit of going potty
inside.
Go out every hour. Or if that
doesn't work go out every 30 minutes.
The main thing though is nice
long walks.
Long walks in new and interesting
places. Dogs can’t resist going potty where other dogs have gone potty.
You might have to put pads in her
"preferred" potty spot, even if it's inconvenient for the time being.
Once she's using the pads
consistently, you can slowly start moving it towards the door until she starts
going outside.
Never yell or scold. This causes
reverse housetraining - she wil go in the house when you are not looking and be
scared when you are looking

I must say, I've always had Chihuahuas, and I've had a horrible time with potty
training. My current Chihuahua is trained
on the pee pads because I work such
long hours and it's easier for her to be able to potty inside while I'm gone.
